Frequently asked questions:

Question:
How will check imaging effect my accounts?

Answer: All of your account statements will become imaged statements sometime in April or May of 2001. Check imaging is a process whereby pictures of your checks and deposits are taken as they are presented to the bank. The images are quite good, and include the front and back of your checks and deposits. You will receive an account summary statement listing account activity in chronological order like you do now, and you will receive other pages with images of the front of your checks and deposits. These images can be used as proof of payment just like your canceled checks were in the past. In addition we will keep your check and deposit images stored in case you might need them reproduced in the future. You can stop by and pick up your free notebook in which to store your new imaged statements at either one of our locations. The image statements will come to you pre-punched to fit into your notebook.
