The Home Loan Process
The application will ask you questions about yourself and your finances, and should take just a few minutes to complete. Please download and print the application on legal size paper, then as soon as you've completed the application you can deliver it to us via fax or regular mail.
A loan professional will contact you within one business day of our receipt of your application to answer any questions you may have. The loan professional will provide help and guidance along the way. If you are purchasing a home our loan professional will contact the realtor so that they will know whom to contact with questions.
We'll send you a kit, which will contain papers for you to sign and return along with a list of other items we'll need to verify the information that you provided in your home loan application.
We'll order an appraisal from a professional appraiser who is familiar with home values in your area. The appraiser will need to view the home to determine its value.
Title insurance will be necessary, if you're purchasing a home we'll work with the realtor to make sure the title work is ordered as soon as possible. If you're refinancing we'll order the title work for you. We use the title insurance policy to confirm the legal status of your property and to prepare the closing documents.
After we receive your home loan kit, the appraisal and the title insurance policy we'll contact you and if necessary the realtor to set closing. The closing will take place at our office, or at the office of a title company or attorney in your area. A few days prior to closing our loan professional will contact you to go over the final details so that there won't be any surprises at closing.
